Kathy Norris, D.Ir. and co-owner of Family Farm for 17 years, has been an entrepreneurial business owner for more than 25 years. She is passionate about natural health and brings her extensive knowledge of herbs, supplements, nutrition and holistic health therapies to customers every day. Kathy studied Iridology and nutrition from Dr Bernard Jensen and is certified in herbal medicine by various organizations. She holds a D.IR, C.I. in Iridology from the Holistic Health College of Wisconsin. Kathy serves as President of International Iridology Practitioners Association. In addition to a very successful 20-year Iridology practice, she is also an experienced Foot Reflexologist. Having overcome personal physical challenges with both cancer and asthma, Kathy knows firsthand the benefits of an integrated and balanced approach to life.
Cathy Kilgore, co-owner of Family Farm for 17 years, has more than 25 years experience in retail management and human resources leadership. She has been responsible for benefits programs as well as employee engagement efforts at numerous companies and knows the costs of today’s healthcare. Seeing the need for a new progressive approach to wellness, Cathy is blending her knowledge of business management with holistic living to bring exciting opportunities to companies and individuals. She has training in various holistic modalities including herbology, nutrition, and reflexology. With a particular passion for music, Cathy has a BA in Music Education from the University of North Texas and is a certified Sound Therapist.
Since 1994, Demetrio has been a distributor of Good Herbs Inc. His own health issues led him to choose natural healthcare options for himself but he also enjoys working in this industry so that he can share his vast knowledge of herbs with others. He joined the Family Farm team in 2005 after attending a private class by master herbalist and renowned iridologist Micki Jones.
Sandy came to work for Family Farm following a successful career teaching and caring for adults with developmental disabilities. After seeing for herself how natural products improved her own physical well-being, Sandy’s desire to teach and help others achieve better health carries over into her relationships with customers. She’s always ready to answer questions and locate products when you come in! Sandy has lived in the Houston/Waller area for 32 years and thoroughly enjoys helping people achieve better health at Family Farm.
Marjorie is a Houston native who joined the Family Farm team in January 2016. She grew up in a family where holistic healthcare was frequently used and wanted to work in an environment helping others find answers to their own health questions. She is a graduate of the University of Houston with a BA in Journalism and helps to keep the Family Farm Facebook page and website updated with timely articles and information about new products and store events in addition to working with customers.
